B4 Match HIGHLIGHTS 18 & Up Coed & Women’s 30 & up
This is a RECREATIONAL LEAGUE PERIOD
Coordinators are in charge of their  team. Coordinators are responsible for keeping their players under control at the matches, showing the referee respect, be a Team Leader & Conduct themselves in a Positive Example setting manor. There are Children at our games. Please act accordingly. NO FOUL LANGUAGE.                          Coordinators be the liaisons with the ref
Refs are in Charge of the games, Their calls are final. They are in charge of playable conditions and will call the match if necessary for any reason, safety, weather, team issues, field conditions etc.
Games start on Time
Players must be registered to a team. Age may be verified by referee via DL/ID at the coordinators request or the ref's request.                                                        Coordinators are to give player information to the ref at their request. Coordinators have all registered players registrations & information.
10 minute grace period to field 7 players otherwise a forfeit/ w/friendly

4 women on the field. If less than 4 your team must play short.( Girls only)
7 men on the field, no more than including keeper at any time. (guys do not play short)   Men have 5 Touches 5thtouch is a pass.
Girls must make it live in the offense before a goal is scored
There will be no sliding or slide tackling. No charging of any player. All 3 are yellow cards (5 minutes off no sub). This will not include the goalkeeper unless his intent is NOT to play the ball.
Yellow Card will be 5mins off the field NO SUB

Red Cards will leave the facilities immediately and will not be able to participate in the next scheduled game/s. Any players playing on multiple teams that receive a red card may not participate in any games until their red card suspension is served
All Foul language is Card-able                               
Borrowing Players for Coed: No Borrowing players expect in Summer League. All Players must be registered to the team or teams that they play on. For Coed if you play on more than one team you must register for each team you play on.  Borrowing Players for Women's 30 & up: Team Coordinators may borrow from any other women's team. It is up to the Coordinator if she wants to borrow players for her designated team. Players must be registered & paid to one women's team, Pink, Blue, Black or White.
Subbing. Both teams may sub while out of play.
Own goal can only happen if it is live by a girl on the scoring team. Deflection by defender = Corner Kick
Arguing with the referee may cause an immediate yellow or red card. Contact or threatening  a ref or is an automatic (VCR) Violent red card and can be just cause for suspension or ejection from the league. 

ZERO TOLERANCE RULE FOR FIGHTING!


Rules & GuidelinesADULT LEAGUE SOCCER Information, Registration, and Rules 
All Sports Facilities:  No-Smoking, No-Alcohol, No-Foul Language No Dogs (sorry). GENERAL INFORMATIONSports Park Location:  Sports Park in Glendora on Saturday nights. Sports Park is located at the end of Valley Center Ave. just north of Gladstone Ave and just south of the 210 FWY.Directions: From the 210 freeway exit at Lone Hill and go south 2 blocks to Gladstone Street and go west (right) to Valley center. Go right on Valley Center Speed Limit is 25 MPH to the end of the block then enter the sports park complex, which is 15 MPH.Hours: The Park closes promptly at 10:00pm.  TEAM REGISTRATION
1) Coed $1075.00 Per Team, Women’s $855.00 Per Team,  Season lengths and fees may be adjusted when necessary. TEAM FEES & TEAM ROSTERS DUE BY Set Due Date TO SECURE YOUR TEAMS SPOT!!  Any Team That Registers After Set Due Date Will Be Charged A $75.00 Late Fee. Any Returned FEES Will Be Charged A $25.00 Service Fee! Coordinators that do not pay their team fee will not coordinate again. Teams that drop will be charged for matches played.
2) All Players Must Be Registered On Line Before They Play Each Year.  New Players must register on line before they play, returning players need to register once (annually) prior to the first season. Register On Line (which includes a waiver) if By A Hand Written Registration Form an on line must also be done. New Teams & New Players Will Need A Photo For Their Player Card Turned In With Their Registration. Returning Players Will Be Reissued Their Player Card. Coordinators Are To Turn In All Player Cards At The Last Game Of Each Season. 
3) Coordinators Are To Issue One Team Fee On-line Payment, via M/C, Visa or American Express To Glendora Soccer Per Season Along With Team Roster, which includes jersey numbers, Registration Forms & Photos. Players Are To Pay Their Coordinators. 
4) Jerseys Are Not Included In The Registration Fee. Any Team Needing Jerseys Must Purchase Their Own Jerseys .All Teams Should Carry An Alternate Jersey In case Of Color Conflict. 
5) After registering and paying, a player card with your registration number will be issued to your team coordinator for the season which will be kept by the team coordinator. Glendora Soccer  players cards and Rosters with Registration numbers on both the cards and roster that must match are required to be able to play. The referee will collect them before each game and return them at the end. 
6) Substitute Players will be required to sign a waiver before participation or must have registered as a sub on line prior to subbing and pay $10.00 for each game. After 2nd game playing as a substitute, we will require that you join the league before participation in 3rd game. 
7) Coordinators are responsible for their team. If they are not going to be at a Match they are to designate someone on their team to be the coordinator for that match only.
8) All players must be 18 years or older. Coed 18 & up \ Women's 30 & up 
  8a) Coordinators are to verify the age of all of their players & make sure they are all 18 years old before they play. If they turn 18 during a season they may not play until their 18th Birthday. 8b)  Any & All Coordinators can request that any player show proof of age by asking the Ref to request proof of age.  Said player shall immediately show proof by D.L. or a photo Id with D.O.B.  If such player can not show proof they must exit the game. They will then be suspended from play in the league until they show proof to the League Coordinator. All players not able to provide proof will be reported via email soccer@glendorasports.net  by a report to the league coordinator by both teams & the ref.  
  8c) Teams in violation of age requirement will forfeit games and be subjected to team suspension. 
  8d) Team Coordinators are to ensure all players are 18.  
  8e) Women's 30 & up teams same rules apply but must meet age 30 requirement. 
9) Each team will have a coordinator that is responsible for communicating with their team regarding rules, schedules, red cards; etc… coordinators will also be the liaison with the refs. Coordinators are responsible for paying Team Fees via on line payment. 

LEAGUE RULES

1) To participate, all players must wear: soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer socks that completely cover your shin guards, and a matching numbered team jersey or matching numbered team T-Shirt.  
2) All games will be two 35-minute halves. There will be a 10-minute half time. If teams are running behind, it is the league’s intention to keep games on time regardless of amount of time played. 
3) First game teams are responsible for helping put up goals & nets. Last game teams are responsible for helping take down goals & nets. (If needed) Thank-You! 
4) Point System is: 3 points for Win, 1 point for tie, and 0 for Loss. At the end of the season In case of a tie the following will apply to determine placement; Points, Most Wins, Head to Head, Goal Differential, Coin Toss. 

PLAYING RULES

1) All regular FIFA soccer rules apply. 
2) There will be no sliding or slide tackling. No charging of any player. All 3 are yellow cards (5 minutes off no sub). 
3) All players must have a player card to participate, unless they are a sub in which case a signed waiver must be given to the ref and be listed on the game card as a sub. All teams must give player cards to the ref before the start of each game along with a complete game card (game card will be the roster sent by the league that includes registration numbers. Coordinators will add Jersey Numbers to the roster and use for their games cards each week) , that includes first & last names, jersey #’s, registration numbers subs & whom they are playing. All player cards & game cards will be given back to the coordinators after each game. 
4) Coordinators are to report via email all scores, subs, yellow, & red cards to soccer@glendorasports.net each week by Sunday so we can get them posted on line ASAP. At the end of each season, coordinators are to turn in all player cards & game cards to the league. 
5) Rough play will be cautioned with a yellow card. Any yellow card will cause your team to play short for 5 minutes. Second offense is a red card. 
6) A red card is suspension from the current game and the following week or weeks as well. Any players playing on multiple teams that receive a red card may not participate in any games until their red card suspension is served. Any fighting is an automatic red card, automatic 3 game suspension and possible expulsion from the Glendora Soccer.  Any Team fighting: (meaning more than one player from each team) both teams will receive a Team Red Card, game forfeit from the current game and a Team Suspension for the their next scheduled game. Any players/spectators who steps onto the field during a hostile situation whether helping or not will be disciplined as a team fight.  Any suspension due to fighting will be just cause for ejections from the league. After receiving a red card, you have to exit the facilities immediately.   6a) Coordinators are in charge of their teams.Coordinators are responsible for making sure all rules are followed by their teammates. ZERO TOLERANCE RULE FOR FIGHTING!   If any team member fights, automatic 3 game suspension.   2nd offense they will be dropped from the league   If a team fights, the whole team will be suspended.  2 or more players from the same team will be considered a team fight  If the ref calls the game due to fighting OR because it his interest it is unsafe to continue, both teams will forfeit & can be suspended. No replay of any suspended or called games.  This is a fun recreational league period!   No aggressive play by men or women.  
  6b) The team of a player that receives a VRC (violent red card) will cause their team to forfeit their game. 6c) A team that receives 3 VRC's during the a season, the entire team will be suspended for the rest of the season. REMEMBER THERE ARE CHILDREN AT OUR GAMES. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR LANGUAGE AND ATTITUDE TOWARDS OTHER PLAYERS. IT IS SOMEONE’S CHILD WATCHING YOUR GAME, IT COULD BE YOURS.  Please remind ALL PLAYERS this is a recreational league and inform them of the rules; If they do not like the rules, they need to find a more competitive league to play in.

8) Foul language is inappropriate and card-able (see Law 12 of FIFA rules). 
9) Each team must field 7 players within 10 minutes of game start time, otherwise your team will receive a forfeit. If you cannot field a team of at least 7 players, after forfeiting you may borrow registered league players for a friendly.  
10) There should be a minimum of 4 women on the field. If you field less than 4 women, your team must play short. You cannot field more than 7 men at any time. 
11) Men are limited to 5 touches on the ball. If more then 5 touches, then an indirect free kick will be awarded to the opposing team. 
12) Free kicks can be taken by male or female. 
13) Women must touch the ball in the offensive half for it to be considered live. It has to be live to count as a goal. The ball stays live until opposing team clears it out across the half line. Girls throwing the ball in the offensive half make the ball live. 
14) Borrowing Players for Coed: No Borrowing players expect in Summer League.
